This year, CReW has decided to introduce a new event; the first ever, CReW Photo Hullabaloo!!! …in less entertaining words, a photo contest! The contest begins immediately and will end Monday, July 5th.
Please read below for details:
Contest is only open to CReW members and their close relatives (who may not be a member)
Close Relatives are siblings, parents, and grandparents (When submitting a photo they must ensure they put which CReW member they are related too and what relation are they)
No more than 3 photo’s per person (each is judged individually)
The individual who is submitting the photo, to the best of their knowledge, must be the person who took that photo.
Ie. Unless it seems obvious that I’m holding the camera and snapping the button, I cannot have a picture of myself.
Any past season photo that you have can be submitted, it is not restricted to just this current season
The photo should “link” to kayaking in some way (ie. CReW gathering, camping by the Ottawa River, etc.)
No judgment will be made on photo quality – this means that no extra “points” will be awarded for HD photos
The photo does not have to be taken of a CReW member – anyone counts
With saying this though, we are assuming that the individual in the photo has given you permission to do so for a contest.
The photo can be digitally changed (photoshopped)
The photo cannot identify the individual submitting the photo – it must remain anonymous
Picture Size – please be reasonable – nothing over 5 or so MB

Make sure you put the name of the person submitting the photo in the e-mail somewhere
